Colour Conviction x Huda Beauty
I am thrilled to share that Huda Beauty in London invited me to host an exclusive masterclass for their in-house associates—diving deep into the art and science of colour analysis and how it aligns beautifully with their makeup range.
Colour Analysis Meets Beauty
The day began with a seated session led by myself, where I shared the foundations of seasonal colour analysis and how it’s not just for fashion—but just as transformative when applied to beauty. From lipstick undertones to foundation matching, the session highlighted how makeup becomes more effortless (and flattering!) when it's in harmony with your natural colouring.
Clearing Up Colour Confusion
A key focus of the first half was demystifying the common confusion between undertones and overtones. In the world of beauty, the two are often mistakenly used interchangeably, leading to frustration when products just don’t feel right. I broke down the difference in simple, actionable terms:
Undertone: the consistent hue beneath your skin (cool, warm, or neutral) that doesn’t change, even if you tan.
Overtone: the surface colour of your skin, which can shift due to sun exposure, redness, or skin conditions.
With this distinction clear, attendees gained a deeper understanding of why foundation matching can be tricky—and how getting it right means knowing your true undertone.
Mini Colour Consultations
In the second half of the day I offered mini colour analysis consultations for team members, helping each person discover their seasonal colour palette. From “True Summers” to “Warm Autumns,” each associate walked away with personalised insights that they can carry into their makeup choices and beyond.
This collaboration marked an exciting meeting point between colour theory and cosmetics—and I am so grateful to Huda Beauty for welcoming me into their space.
