The Power of Colour: Consulting for Hyatt at IMAX Frankfurt
Earlier this month, I had the incredible opportunity to be flown out by Hyatt to Frankfurt, Germany, to take part in the prestigious IMAX Event—an international gathering of event professionals, hoteliers, and brand leaders from around the globe.
As an image consultant and colour analyst, I was invited to offer mini colour analysis sessions throughout the event. Over the course of a few energising days, I had the pleasure of meeting with 50+ individuals from all corners of the world. From the Middle East to North America, Asia to Europe, the diversity was inspiring—and it reaffirmed something I’ve always known: colour is deeply personal and hyper-individualistic.
Each session was a bite-sized introduction into the world of seasonal colour theory. With just a few minutes, I was able to guide people toward understanding their undertone, how colour harmony works, and which hues naturally enhance their features—whether they leaned into a radiant Spring palette or a rich Winter one. It was fast, interactive, and so rewarding to see so many faces light up when they saw themselves shine.
The Hyatt booth provided the perfect stylish and welcoming backdrop for these sessions, and I’m so grateful to their team for valuing the role of personal image in professional settings. In the business of people and presentation, knowing your colours isn’t just about fashion—it’s about confidence, connection, and clarity.
There was a real buzz around colour at IMAX, and I’m thrilled that so many attendees left with a new sense of curiosity (and excitement!) for their personal palette.
Frankfurt, you were a dream. Thank you, Hyatt, for trusting me to bring a little colour to your global stage.
